Imaginem un futur amb menys danys causats per la psicopatia, on una major conscienciació condueixi a una millor prevenció, tractament i suport per a les víctimes, les famílies i les persones amb trets psicopàtics.
Què és la psicopatia?
La psicopatia és un trastorn de la personalitat que es manifesta per un patró de mentir, explotació dels altres, imprudència, arrogància, promiscuïtat sexual, baix autocontrol i manca d’empatia pels altres. Els individus amb trets psicopàtics semblen mancar d’emocions socials (amor, empatia, culpa i remordiment).

Sobre les conseqüències
Fundat el 2006 pel Dr. David Kosson, Aftermath: Surviving Psychopathy va començar com una col·laboració entre investigadors, clínics i supervivents per donar suport a les persones afectades per la psicopatia. Amb el suport dels Drs. Robert Hare i Paul Babiak, el lloc web es va llançar el 2008 com un espai per a l’educació, la connexió i la curació.
