Aftermath Graduate Student Award for 2025: Aaron Hissey

The Aftermath Foundation Graduate Student Research Award for 2025 has been awarded to Aaron Hissey, a doctoral student at the Department of Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Adelaide in 2011 and received Honors in Psychology in 2012. This award is given to honor those graduate students who conduct and publish research consistent with the Mission of the Foundation. Aaron received the award for his articles, “Causal Effect of Psychopathy on Partner Well‐Being: A National Longitudinal Study” and “Associations Among Psychopathy, Relationship Satisfaction, and Professional Success in Couples,” articles coauthored with Matt Hammond, Joseph Bulbulia, Chris G. Sibley, Elena Zubielevitch, and Hedwig Eisenbarth.
