2016 and 2017 Reports Now On the Aftermath Website

Reports summarizing the activities and accomplishments of the Aftermath Foundation during 2016 and 2017 have now been added to the website. Please take a look at what we have been doing! The reports are visible under “About Us” or you can reach them with this link:

We believe psychopathy is a serious disorder that hurts many people. Through our efforts, we hope to contribute to greater recognition of and greater understanding by both professionals and the general public of the nature and impact of psychopathy on victims/survivors. We envision a future in which psychopathy has less of a negative impact on the families, friends, co-workers, and victims of psychopathic individuals as well as individuals with psychopathic traits themselves because of the establishment of: • more effective methods to help victims and survivors recover from traumatic relationships with such individuals; • more effective methods to prevent or ameliorate the development of psychopathic traits; • more effective methods to treat psychopathic features. Welcome to the Aftermath: Surviving Psychopathy Foundation website. We are a non-profit organization, a working coalition of psychopathy researchers, mental health professionals, victims and family members of those affected with psychopathy. Our purpose is to provide information and support to those whose lives, health, and/or careers have been placed at risk or negatively impacted by psychopathy. VISIT OUR FORUM Aftermath Radio: For several years, Dr. Robert Schug hosted our online Aftermath Radio broadcasts live from California State University KBeach Radio. During these entertaining and informative broadcasts, he discussed important research about psychopathy and interviewed psychopathy experts and victims and took questions from callers.
