- Accuracy in the dissemination of evidence based information about psychopathy – We strive to present accurate information for the general public, for forum posters, in our training programs for both professionals and the general public, and in our frequently asked questions and other resources.
- Advocacy for and empowerment of victims and family members. We strive to aid in the healing /recovery of family members and victims of psychopathic relationships; to support advocacy for victims and family members of psychopathic individuals, including helping to provide them with a voice until they are in a position to be their own. We wish to foster the independence of victims and survivors while taking steps toward recovery. We work to re-empower people through education and understanding. We hope to provide victims / survivors with a voice and chance to be heard, understood, and believed. We work to raise awareness of prevalence of psychopathic traits among varying institutions and organizations, to raise awareness and acceptance of the problem of psychopathy for advocacy and empowerment purposes, and to reduce the stigma of psychopathy/affected individuals.
