Aftermath Radio: Episode 11: Controversies in Psychopathy Part II

Aftermath Radio’s “Wheel of Controversy” is back!

Happy New Year, and welcome back to Aftermath Radio… now broadcast on Mondays @ 4pm PST. On our first show of the Spring 2011 semester, three prominent names in the field of psychopathy (Dr. Dave Kosson, Professor of Psychology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and co-author of the Psychopathy Checklist: Youth Version; Dr. Liane Leedom, psychiatrist by training and adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Bridgeport and author of 6 books on the subject of psychopathy including Just Like His Father? A guide to overcoming your child’s genetic connection to antisocial behavior addiction and ADHD; and Women Who Love Psychopaths; and Dr. Paul Babiak, Industrial and Organizational Psychologist and author of the book, Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths Go to Work) came together for a second round of discussions about controversies in psychopathy.

We opened the show with our new “Aftermath Radio Q and A” segment, where we respond to listeners’ questions. This week’s focus was a listener’s questions about family law attorneys and their knowledge of psychopathy, as well as the potential damage that psychopathic individuals can cause within the judicial system. We also spoke with Sarah Strudwick—life coach, author, and psychopathy survivor—who called in from the United Kingdom to share her story (her book, Dark Souls, is available at Amazon.com).

We dusted off and fired up the “Wheel of Controversy” once again to select topics; and Dr. Schug and the experts discussed, debated, and commented on controversial topics such as “All Psychopaths are Serial Killers” and “All Psychopaths are Criminals.”

Again, many thanks for listening! We’re looking forward to a great Spring 2011 season…
